Solar PV for businesses with high power consumption

Rooftop systems on halls and commercial buildings, sized to your consumption, with grid connection, DNO application and commissioning from a single source – combined with a battery storage system if you wish.

What matters

  • Sized to your consumption

We size the system to your load profile and operating hours. The aim is a high share of solar power that you consume yourself, instead of feeding it into the grid for a few cents.

  • Roof, structure and grid connection

We check the roof, structural capacity and grid connection for each project. We apply for and manage the grid connection ourselves, through to commissioning with the network operator.

  • From 100 kW: direct marketing

From 100 kW of capacity there is no fixed feed-in tariff any more; surplus power is sold through a direct marketer, and the system must be remotely controllable. We involve the direct marketer and the technology from the outset.

Negative power prices

For PV systems commissioned since 25 February 2025, feed-in support generally lapses during hours with negative wholesale prices (Section 51 of the German Renewable Energy Sources Act, EEG). The more solar power your business consumes or stores itself, the less the system depends on these hours. We take this into account in the design.

Process

  1. 01

    Consumption and roof

Load profile, electricity bill and roof data show which system size suits your business.

  2. 02

    Design and quotation

Module layout, structural check, inverters, metering concept and grid connection, together with a binding quotation.

  3. 03

    Construction

Installation by qualified specialist contractors, coordinated by us, with fixed inspection steps at every stage.

  4. 04

    Commissioning

Testing and documentation to DIN EN 62446-1, commissioning, completion notice and registration in the Marktstammdatenregister (national register).

Built: 1,031.96 kWp on commercial roofs

Six rooftop systems on halls and commercial buildings, 1,031.96 kWp in total, all commissioned in 2025. Capacity as recorded in the Marktstammdatenregister (the Federal Network Agency’s market master data register); photos from drone surveys of the completed systems.

Funding

For commercial PV systems there are subsidised loans, tax depreciation and, in some federal states, grants – usually together with a battery. Important: apply first, then place the order. Which programmes are currently open
